COLUMBUS, OH (February 23, 2022) – The WonderBus Music & Arts Festival returns to The Lawn at CAS in Columbus, Ohio, this summer with THREE DAYS OF MUSIC! WonderBus is the sister festival to WonderStruck in Cleveland and WonderRoad (Indianapolis).

WonderBus 2022 headliners include Duran Duran (Friday 8/26), Lorde (Saturday 8/27) and The Lumineers (Sunday 8/28).The last time each artist appeared in Columbus they performed at the Shottenstein Center.

Duran Duran, recently nominated for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, last played Columbus in 2008. This will be the band’s first Ohio appearance in 10 years and their only 2022 appearance in a five-state region (Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and West Virginia). Lorde’s last performance in Columbus was four years ago and WonderBus will mark her only Ohio appearance in 2022. The Lumineers, heading out this summer on their most ambitious tour yet, last appeared in Columbus just prior to the pandemic.

Additional performances over the three-day event will include Young The Giant, James Bay, Coin, Max, Cautious Clay, Beach Bunny, Meg Myers, Daisy The Great, The Knocks, Cannons, Neal Francis and more. Ohio will be well represented by 90’s Kids, Cousin Simple, .wavrunner and Detention.

TICKET INFO – Please Read Carefully

Tickets will go ON SALE this Saturday, February 26 at 10AM ET. We are expecting this year’s festival to sell out. We encourage everyone that would like to attend to purchase tickets early.

The best pricing will be in effect on February 26 ONLY. 

Ticket prices will increase February 27, March 5, July 18 and August 22 (IF the festival has not sold out by those dates).

Specially priced kids’ tickets will be available for children ages 3-10. Children 2 years of age and under will be admitted for free. VIP passes will be sold as a weekend ticket only, with the exception of the Friday night benefit activities. 

Onsite parking for many festival attendees is available for advance purchase for $35 per day. Onsite parking is limited, so we encourage getting your parking pass early. Fans are encouraged to use Uber and Lyft. There will be a dedicated Rideshare pick-up and drop-off area at the festival site.

For the first time WonderBus is adding a third night of music, Friday, August 26, starting at 6:00 p.m. and ending at 11:00 p.m. The Friday night activities, made possible in part through the generous support of the venue host, CAS, will include a special spotlight on innovation in mental health treatment and research. A share of the proceeds will benefit The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health and Nationwide Children’s Hospital and On Our Sleeves®, The Movement for Children’s Mental Health.

WonderBus is owned, produced and presented by Elevation Festivals. Also serving as a partner in the festival is Columbus business leader Rick Milenthal and his marketing agency – The Shipyard. Each year, The Shipyard creates the festival poster (see above) and all creative graphics and elements supporting festival marketing and promotions.
